I have a 318 la with a bizarre "electric choke" that really sucks. I'm having to adjust it all the time. So I actually am switching to a manual choke for ease of use.

I have a 4 barrel Edelbrock and for some reason it doesn’t have an electric choke. I’m just starting to learn about carbs but how does it work without a choke cable or an electric choke? The truck worked for about a year fine like that and now it’s definitely not working right. Any thoughts? Other than of course getting an electric choke?
