You forgot the part where you actually use it.

The chlorinated version is basically straight tetrachloroethylene, the stuff used in dry cleaning. It is a category I (strongest) carcinogen… Non-chlorinated version is acetone and toluene, not delicious but not nearly as nasty. Thinking of all those cans that ai have run through and its smell…😢

I use it to instantly kill wasps. Anything that can insta-kill something makes me wary of being exposed to it.

Thanks for this message. I hear phosgene gas is like permanantly damaging to lungs. So now (2022) they seem to make less or no more clorinated brake clean, (mine has toluene, another solvent.) Not sure that it is a lot safer either, but not that tetracloroethylene we used to see.

Excellent video. Super informative and great quality production.
Could this product be used to clean powder coated wheels, let's say if the tires are protected?
Cheers.

Stupid question of the day: I really need to clean my breaks. This stuff was advertised to use without disassembling the break components. Does that mean you can leave the tires on as well? Im not in a position to remove the tires, and after reading instructions, it says keep away from rubber. Anyone have any insight on that?

Great video, informative, relatable, and presented by someone who I would grab a beer with. Subbed!

Yesterday by accident I dropped and spelled entire 6 quart of dirty engine oil all over the engine. Car is still parked, I didn't start it yet. How or what I should use to clean it? Can not take to car wash nor can wash at home. I was planning to use multiple Brakleen cans, but now you said these are not good for plastic under the hood. What I should do?

Chlorinated or non-chlorinated? I've been using the Wal-Mart branded cleaner, flammable, which I think is non-chlorinated.

Sooo what the hell CAN we use Brake Cleaner on? Seems like nothing...cause there's plastic and rubber near or behind everything on a modern car, along with some sort of painted or coated surfaces.

Will it damage the piston caliper rubber boot?
