Actually, quite a few public schools in LA are really good. A lot of them have loads of AP and Honors classes, and people will be friendly if you are friendly.

Anyone who went to private school or home school in my area seemed like the weirdos. My public school was number 52 in the state (second best state for public education) and private schools had less quality supposedly. Also we had 4 levels of classes (1 needs a lot of help, 2 needs some help, 3 standard, 4 honors) classes level 2 & 1 had a minimum of 2 teachers per classroom.

In a nice neighborhood like that they should have great public schools, I've never been rich but I always went to nice quiet public schools that had a lot going on

In my country we have: private schools, public schools and Model C schools(they are private schools with a little influence by the government. But they are amazing and most are better than private schools.)

It depends on the city you live in . Public schools in certain areas are better than private but some public schools I wouldn’t send my enemies stray dog to. Public schools in certain areas are incubators for future prisoners and criminals .
