Russia foils Kyiv's drone attack plans; New Year strikes target Ukraine's UAV factories

Russian Defense Ministry has said that its New Year attacks on Ukraine targeted the country's drone production. Moscow claimed it had managed to scupper Kyiv's 'terror attacks' against Russia. In a New Year's Eve assault, Russia attacked Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. As a result of the strikes, 3 people died and 50 were injured in Ukraine, according to local authorities. But the Russian Defense Ministry says that the strike hit facilities that were involved in making UAVs to target Russia.
