Ukraine bid to bomb Engels Air Force base again? Russia destroys 'unidentified object'

There has been a sudden rise in attempts to target key Russian air bases. In the latest incident, Russian air defence destroyed an unidentified object over the Saratov region near its crucial airfield, said the governor. The area where the incident happened is close to Engels Air Force Base. The Engels have previously come under two Ukrainian drone attacks this month. On December 26, three Russian servicemen were killed after a Ukrainian drone strike on an air base. On December 5, a massive explosion took place after a drone attack by Kyiv.
