Rogue Russian troops launch 'invasion' into Russia

Rogue Russian soldiers on Tuesday clashed with Moscow’s spy service after launching a cross-border raid, according to Russia’s ministry of defence.

Russian volunteers fighting for Ukraine reportedly attacked the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region, on Russian territory near the border between the warring countries.

“Ukrainian saboteurs tried to infiltrate the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia from three directions with the support of armoured vehicles,” a spokesman for Russia’s ministry of defence said.

They lost over 300 troops and more than a dozen military fighting vehicles, including 7 US made Bradley assault vehicles. They also attacked civilian areas with no military significance whatsoever, which is how they got as far as they did before being pushed out. Yesterday, after their defeat, they made a fake video on the Ukrainian side claiming they were still on Russian territory. The video was geolocated. So basically a publicity stunt ordered by Zelensky that ended in complete disaster.
