Correct! Our ultraprocessed food companies ARE hiring people who are manipulating people to crave more of their products. It's with their additives. Basically not caring about the well-being of their customers and only caring about their profits! This is why we should not be buying much of this from restaurants or grocery stores and relying on whole foods as much as we can. But this doesn't mean buying ranch packets or those other additive packets to put in our slowcookers and instant pots - those are made to be addictive too! 🤯

They haven't deliberately designed them to be addictive. But they have ploughed millions into researching what wouldnbe a more desirable and economically manufacturable product. That's market forces / profit motive. It's your sorry ass with no ability to self control that makes it 'addictive'
