Ukraine: Putin needs to show his country a 'victory' by autumn - says former Russian PM

A former Prime Minister of Russia has told Sky News that President Putin "needs a victory" in Ukraine to show the Russian people by the autumn.

Mikhail Kasyanov said Russians will want to see something has been achieved in Ukraine and "propaganda will not be able to provide appropriate answers".

The Putin critic said Russia could be defeated by Ukraine "in a few months".

The last Ukraine winter took a heavy toll on Putin's Orcs, and the coming one will too. This is why those new weapons must keep coming to Ukraine in sufficient quantity and at a timely rate.
