That's so weird because in Mexico I have the Nissan Versa 2020 Advance CVT and when I do the same, the CVT simulated shifts

You should try doing that in sport mode. If you didn't know this, there is a selector switch on your shifter (this looks like the SV or SR, I have the SV) You will get a faster throttle response, later "shift" and a firmer control on the steering.
