'Sanskaar' is very subjective thing it varies from person to person, some people thinks sanskaar lies in clothing, some thinks it's in behavior, some in thinking, some thinks it's in obeying everything your parents say, some might find it in spirituality, when it comes to it's literal meaning it means 'imprints left on the mind by past experiences ( often in past lives ) that then condition future responses and behaviour.'
For me it's about evolving and accepting what time does to you and still be humble and curious!

Mimi chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan are not successful politicians😂😂😂😂. They make tiktok reels instead of working for the welfare of the area they are elected from. Their attire is modest in this picture.
Anyways coming back to the main context. This way of thinking has to change and it will only change when people voice this discrimination out. A saree shows more skin. Everyone knows that.

It's not about clothes, I agree with everything you said about clothes but it's about language and rules of parliament, No matter how much we disagree with other person's view but using expletive 'bad' language is not justifiable let it be any gender but at the same time what a woman wears should't be topic of conversation it should be if her argument is valid or not is she/he doing their work properly or not!

Seeing the comment section, it's irresistible to point out the
It isn't about showing off or supporting the usage of bad words by women
The main issue of concern here being that women are always pulled off irrespective of their post or intellect just bcoz they don't fit into the so called norm created by society.
(Let's not forget that the society that we live in today is created by humans like us, and it is evolving as it did !!!)
In spite of focussing on the way these ppl carry themselves, why not focus on the way they work !!!! Let it be men or women
Let's criticise them or appreciate them on the work they do, rather than their appearance .
( Colourful suit pehanke achi baatein ache din ke koi bhi kar sakta hai !)
( Ps: if someone like to change their fashion or the way they carry themselves, let them, let's not make that the centre of everything abt them )

This is a baseless and ridiculous narative...Under the disguise of"Successful female politicians" you can't put aside the behaviour opposite to as expected from a parliamentarian....

And To the basic knowledge of whom so ever is the creator... Parliament function on rules which everyone has to abide by...if they fail to, they will have a nice crisp "karvahi" on them..and may face charges of misconduct...

And by this statement i am no misogynist or right wing as you may think...This comes with basic sense that "Two wrongs don't make a right"...

Ms.Moitra using a word unethical in parliament is wrong and the West Bengal BJP person commenting on CM of Bengal is wrong too.

Indian politician may it be man or women should have civic sense to behave especially in parliament...

Stop these whole western narative of gender bias( it exists because people lack the mental clearance of knowing what our history and culture is)...Go and learn Bharatiya culture you'll understand how very well treated women were as compared to those in Europe and Middle East in the early ages and how much was the representation and participation of women in nation building as they call now it now...(development and prosperity)

Men have used abusive words, so many times in public forums. It's considered as bold and powerful. But when women out of irritation due to constant interruptions by jerks, use an Arabic word ' harami' ( sinner) then she is suddenly labelled as a " down market" or " asanskari" woman.

Should female politicians wear saree all the time? The comments made on Mamta, Mimi and Nusrat were ridiculous to say the least. Men are justifying Mahua's criticism as if male politicians behave appropriately in the parliament 🤣

Just backlash. She must be thrown out of the parliament for her entire term as MP. Are you seriously representing people from your constituency with such attitude? Have some shame...🤨🤨🤨

I don’t see western politicians wearing saree or kameez to the parliament, why do we promote and follow their culture? Be proud of who you are and roots

In Parliament it's not about our individual perspective of "Sanskar" . There's a code of conduct and expected parliamentary behavior for everyone and if she has crossed that boundary, she will naturally face the backlash, what has this got to do with the Sanskari woman?

The channel's legitimizing the use of slang/abuse by shielding a politician just because she is a woman is a nonsense but also shameful.

Anyone who abuses others regardless of gender should be corrected not protected which the journalist here is trying to do.
