Kia Sportage Key Fob Battery Replacement (2014 - 2020)

How to replace the battery in this key fob for the Kia Sportage 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 models.

Three years later and you're still helping people via this video. I haven't replaced the battery for both key fobs yet but, for once, I wanted to figure it out. At this point, I was at least able to pop off the back (never been done by me before) to see the battery so I could order the correct battery.

Nice guide, found you can use the tip of the key you pull out to do the same. Couldnt bother to find a screwdriver so tried, worked like a charm.

I am *not* mechanically inclined. Unless something involved duct tape, I can't fix it. However, thanks to your video, I used a screwdriver and changed the battery. I now feel like I can be a brain surgeon.
