Question : I have a HP laptop connected to a Monitor through a USB - C cable : I get the video signal but is not charging my laptop at the same time ( I have to use the provided laptop charger to allow that)... If I disable the USB -C port as you described, I should be able to achieve the charging through USB - C?.... Thank you in advance 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Your video was great and it fixed the USB port that hasn't been working for months. I did have a little problem understanding what you said to type to search for the device manager, so I'll put those instructions here. Press the windows key + R. Type in devmgmt.msc .. that will open the device manager. After that it's easy to follow along with the video. I had to disabled the settings as you've shown under the battery advanced settings, that reinstalled the driver for that USB port and fixed the problem. Thank you so much.

Ok i figured out something new. I gave up and was ready to take my
laptop apart and I was doing so. I was hoping to disconnect and
reconnect usb card but instead. I was able to fix the issue much
easier. I have done all kinds of troubleshooting mention in all these
videos but none mention this. I did do a bios reset and factory default
in bios. This did not work either. When taking apart laptop, I
disconnected the CMOS batter connection from the Motherboard and waiting
for like a minute then reconnected. Laptop restarted twice before
going into windows. I plugged in my External USB mouse and immediately
it said new device found. Boom fixed :D Good luck y'all
