This is why I love living/ working in the U.K all I ever ate in Siberia was frozen meant, dairy products and fish here lots of fresh stuff and I love there nuts mmmm so good 4 protein ❤

Definitely better value at the grocery stores, at least a few years ago when I was there. Standards for ingredients are higher than in the US.

Food quality standards really matter. Just the bread in Europe is miles better than most American breads.

Yes...went back..this year...the food is more fresh...yes agree...loved it...have to be care full not to overeat...lots of walking helps...to keep weight off..

Living around Mediterranean sea for over 7 years I can say Mediteranean food is very high quality.i personally didn't like british food, i only ate at Indian and other foreign restaurants when I was there. I've heard from others as well that the best food in UK is all foreign cuisine which is not British food. Food taste doesn't necessarily equal high quality ingredients, btw.

I love the cream teas! The coddled cream and jam on scones. I missing those. Theres more readily accessible healthy food here at a decent price in the UK then the US. To eat healthy in the US will cost you

Food quality standards and flavor are very different things. No Italy, no Spain?

British lamb is awesome. A Mixed grill is also amazing. One big difference is that the Brits typically do not have huge fridge and freezers, so shop for food more often. Beer, among the best in the world, and people know stuff about how it's made. I iwas n the UK when I was 20 and it was an awakening discovering what real Ale and Lager tasted like. In Canada beer is crap, except for that produced by the thousands of microbreweries we have now.

I'm scottish and live in Finland. Food doesn't taste any better here but my kids do get mostly locally produced, fully organic meals (much better than what I used to get) provided for tham at school and daycare. All children get free school meals here.

As a well-traveled Englishman I'd say that London is one of the best cities in which to find good food from every corner of the globe. But when it comes to Fish & Chips (yes, capitalised) the quality varies widely. You can get outstanding quality...but you have to know where to go.

I remember the first time eating a big ham and eggs breakfast after just arriving there and being surprised at how much better everything tasted .

We have some damn good food over here! There is alot more diversity than people assume. Aint all meat and potatoes. Even though we make that work in wonderful ways 😂

May be compared to US, yes, but ask and immigrant from the eastern part of the world how much of a pain it is to find tomatoes which have TASTE in the UK😂
