I really appreciate the contrast of books and gym equipment in the background kind of representing, subtly, two of the most incredible and cheap things in life: read and work out.
Also kind of hint of how we should feed our minds and bodies.

Great advice. Under the radar living is so rewarding. Nothing to prove, no badges to wear. Just contentment. If you spend it, you don’t have it.

Your point on investing in unnessarily risky projects is so true. Why do prideful individuals feel the need to invest int high stress, high risk projects for gains? Most of the time they don't even have a strong nest egg saved before taking on a very risky project. It make me so disappointed and sad. It's like they don't care about building net worth - they just want to prove to themselves that they are right.

I suspect that the ambition that drives the high earner also will not allow them to live humbly, while the humility that allows a person to live under their means comes with a personality that is not money-driven enough to treat high income as a primary focus. It's one of life's little miseries. Also, somebody needs to take the phrase "scarcity mindset" and give it the kicking it has coming to it, the idea that living opulently attracts, somehow, more opulence is false, and very popular.

I can't figure out if you're telling me NOT to do these things or TO DO these things.

You wouldn’t believe how many physicians are flat broke and just servicing their loans because they took out that physician loan. When a family member, it was a new physician went to the bank to get a 325K loan for a house they wrote it up as 1.2 million. They were shocked when she came in and told them they could shove it up their ass and they better rewrite the loan correctly or she was going to go to another bank. Half her colleagues took that insane loan and 20 years later, they are still up to their eyeballs in debt and still paying on their student loans😮

I have earned in my age the 1% income of our country population. I have saved and invested most of it. It all pays off already as I am able to pay my mortgage of our house fully after 5 years.
Thanks god I kept my spending habit low.

I am 34 years old, single no kids, and make 180k a year. I have been saving about 60% of my income. I really want my dream car which cost 45k. Do you think I can afford this car or wise to buy it?

Matthew 6:19

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal,

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Good video... I do some things a lot of people don't. From every income batch, regardless of source, I put 15% into long term value investments. This has become the core of my wealth.🎉

Did Napoleon Hill say we become who we “hang out” with? Doesn’t sound like Hill would use that terminology. Maybe “associate” with but hang out sounds too contemporary. 😂
