Well Done! I truly enjoyed this video! I am very new to the "ROSE" addiction and this video was excellent! I have saved it! Thank you so very much!

Thank you for this primer on pruning! I find that Neem oil works really well as a blackspot preventative, and also keeps pests under control. I apply it starting when the leaves are new and reapply every week to ten days. Best to apply it either very early in the morning or in the late afternoon, because sometimes Neem oil can cause leaves to burn in the direct sun. Also, don't apply it right before rain is expected.

Good morning Jenny! Thanks so much for sharing this with us, I especially appreciated it because I have always found Rose pruning particularly “challenging “🙏🏼 maybe now I will have a little more confidence with this necessary task!👍🏻

My local ag office was super helpful with the fungicides and recommending classes and how to alternate them, since we get black spot so bad. Alternating different classes which is that they work differently. Really, really helped reduce my black spot load on my roses this year!

Jenny, I have heard you try to train you leaders in a side way s form going up trellis, that way your shoots that come off the leaders will produce better ? Of course those are the shoots you trim back to flower. Have you heard that? I’ve just got my first climbing roses spring 24 and have started that process.. Thank you so much for this video.❤

Good morning, Jenny☕️I planted my first two roses last year. One is a David Austin climber and the other is a yellow rose standard and this video was so helpful. I didn’t know I’m supposed to defoliate them! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐶

Good golly, Jenny! Great job on this tutorial. I finally understand how to prune my climber thanks to you starting at the base and working your way up the canes. I also feel better about my deer pruning a leader every now and again knowing a new leader will come from the leftover cane. The photos of a dead cane and new growth on the shrub rose were a smart edition. It’s always a pleasure; you’re a joy to watch.

Thank you. I have a climbing rose. It is wild. I’ll definitely need gloves and patience. Now I can handle her and know what to do.

Question, so, when you're pruning, you're climbing rose. Do the roses bloom on the new growth witch is the side shoots? The canes that are on there right now will not have roses on them, Is that correct? I just love your videos. I look forward to them every morning. Thank you for continuing to educate me and inspire me.❤❤
