Claustrophobia has some amazing dice agency, the asymmetrical powers are so well balanced and with changing missions and map tiles it's makes for every game so interesting (for both sides).

Always wanted to try Forbidden Stars. Even more since Devon hyped it as one of his top games! Really like the universe of 40K so should be right up my alley. it's so expensive tough...

Never played it, but heared lots of good things about Forbidden Stars. As it is out of print and hard to get, I hope the new owner will enjoy it

Have you tried Heart of Crown? It's an amazing deckbuilder based on Dominion but with some extra spins. The anime style can be a bit off-putting but the game itself is great.

Yea…. I have a hard time culling. I research the names before I buy so most of them I end up enjoying enough to keep. But there’s always new games lol.

I didn’t realize that I was ready to move on from The Key until you put it on the table. I’m going to ask to play Search for Planet X over The Key every single time. The deduction puzzle is so much deeper in Planet X. Also Tiwanaku just delivered….

I'm surprised your games of Mechanical Beast were running so long. I feel like my games are usually 15-20 minutes.

My biggest issue with it is that with default rules, the game is almost impossible to lose (any time you get a double-gear tile, you literally cannot lose).

I added a few house rules to speed up the early game and fix the end game. Specifically:
- Gears are off limits while the beast is active unless you would otherwise be trapped.
- A gear may only be used once until all players have left the room.

I still break this out when I have 30 minutes or less for a solo game and I want something a little heavier than Sprawlopolis, but a little lighter than Rove.

This seems like a good option to cull. It feels like a solid idea that needs a little more development to really get there. I think I enjoyed mathing out the mechanics with the designer in BGG as much as actually playing it as is ;)

Bonfire and Boop are both games I really want to try but feel they would move on sooner rather than later.

Claustrophobia is a game I still wish I would have backed from the vague place of still not having played it. Still no real concept if it would be a great game for me.

How are you going to handle the Trudvang extra content that hasn’t shipped yet?

I’m in the same boat where I’m ready to move on from it, but then what do I do with all the kickstarter extras that ship months down the road.

I really get that for you and your kids these two cases of the key didn't last for long. But did you check out the new prison case of the series? it's the "expert" one and takes the series to a - in my humble opinion - really advanced and crunchy climax
