I like when a channel does a "leaving the collection" and the games are actually good games. Way more interesting than watching someone getting rid of 10 whatever games.

Wow! This cull is basically a potential cornerstone of a collection for many in the hobby. I only own Downforce from this list (still haven't played it), but all are games I want to eventually play. Speaks volumes about how many good games there are & how many continue to be released.

Wow - there's some good games in there. It's interesting to see how you decide which games to let go of.

Wingspan never clicked with us. We played Everdell afterward and never looked back. Perhaps it's our love worker-placement games as well. What we enjoy is that we barely start with anything and then depending on how you play cards, resources can come rather quickly. Surely not going to debate again why we enjoy one over the other. It is what it is.

Great video, love the explanations. Out of these, only have Downforce and Rising Sun. Will keep Downforce since it is one of my two racing games.
Agree with Rising Sun, but can't bring myself to get rid of it :-)

Downforce just left my collection too. Good game, but only really shines at the higher player counts. Needed the space for new stuff (hello space race).

Alex - I feel very similarly to you with Clank Legacy. My fiancee loves the story-line of any campaign game and Clank is no different. I enjoyed the first 3-5 plays of this, but it's turned into a game where there'a fun-ish story but the gameplay is too similar despite the different contracts. We just played the third to last mission last night and Clank feels like turning into a game that was fun, but is less fun now due to campaign burnout. For Wingspan, we liked it but it also fell flat after a couple of plays. The art is captivating but the lack of player interaction and the theme ended up not being for us.

10 games down... I own 6, but I get the reasoning for all of them... I'm a little surprised Mariposas in the background is in the collection. I have it as well, but I'm not sure about its longevity.

+1 to the Clank Legacy critique. Exact same thing happened to us and I'm a huge Acq Inc person.

Yes, this has zero to do with the games leaving part of the video, but I'm digging that you have After the Empire behind you. We have a game of that we are finishing up tonight (homework still trumps gaming) and we are really happy we bought it.
