Instead of getting the G923 save some money and find a g29 somewhere, there's no noticeable difference.

To be fair, no one’s drives an F1 car through Laguna Seca so you’re not alone there

Forgot to mention that on G923 the ABS is felt through the wheel enabling and cue for trailing off. Audio gain can be a bother but it it's rewarding to be able to feel the car slip away(light steering) or understeer (anchors launched to prevent turning) in ACC although the latest update has increased the feedback to an unpleasant experience and sound as if they just introduced an expiration date (sabotage). Thanks @IGN

I've used the logitech pedals on my G29 for close to 5 years. You do NOT need to worry about the brake pedal force. It's no where near as heavy as the review makes it out to be. It is literally a solid rubber damper (think a rubber eraser) that you push up against. Realistically you're talking about maybe 10lbs of braking load for full max? Trust me you'll be fine.

The g923 and the g29 are the same wheel. Same motors etc. the true force only works with 4/5 games. And the brake pedal is mildly better. You can mod for a few bucks to do same thing. 200$ for the g29/g920. G923 is 350/400$ for same kit.

If you’re looking to play Rally Sims on the console, stay away from Logitech. There’s no way to connect a handbrake on consoles, just PC. It may sound nit picky but if you’re rally racing the handbrake is essential. Tapping a button on the steering wheel to drift just takes away from the immersion. Plus the wheel itself is just to small IMO

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a hori or PXN wheel. Only go for logitech or a higher end wheel

The logitech has a rubber inside the brake peddal you can remove it without breaking it

Never buy Hori or any steering wheels with no force feedback. Unless it's for a little kid.

Console compatible wheelbases - ffb torque
$230 Logitech G29 - 2nm
$450 Thrustmaster T300rs GT - 3.9nm
$700 Fanatec GT DD Pro - 5nm (8nm with Boost kit)

For PC, there are a whole lot more options on the high end. The Fanatec GT DD pro is basically just an entry level direct drive wheel base. But for the same price as the GT DD pro, you can get a 10nm Simagic Alpha mini for the same price for example.

Look up models from this brands:
- Simucube
- Simagic, Moza, Cammus
- VRS
- Fanatec DD1/DD2

Had Thrustmaster TS-PC and while it's great, the noise of belt drive wheel bothered me. Now got Fanatec DD Pro and added loadcell brake pedal rather than another clutch pedal - feels much better although not every game can adjust the pressure in-game.

On the Logitech's defense, the brake should always be hard to press because that's how it works in cars and because you want it to be more precise so as to not skid or lose control. Hence the load cell for Fanatec (Thrustmaster got Load cell pedals now too)

Why they would recommend the Hori boggles my mind. Should have been the T248 as the budget model.

Just upgraded from the Logitech G29 to the Fanatec GT DD Pro. It makes a world of difference!

Had a Thrustmaster TX 458 with upgraded pedals and shifter. Amazing piece of kit for the money, much better than the Logitech stuff. Have a Fanatec DD Pro with extras and it's also fantastic.

The Hori Apex can change wheel sensitivity in function. You can also change the pedals sensitivity on GT7 by going into controller options.

the fanatec gt ed pro is the absolute best wheel you can get for playstation and gives every type of feedback, EVERY, also very detailed and overall perfect feelings. There’s absolutely nothing to hate on that wheel

That G923 is much more affordable these days. Amazon and Best Buy have the set up for anywhere from high $200s to low $300 at any given time.
