How someone as informative, and entertaining, as yourself has so few subscribers is beyond me. I don't even keep bees and I look forward to your videos. Thank you for putting so much fun into information.

Filming is so good, the cameraman is a superstar. The presenter is amazing too, as ever, the real star of the show however is the bees!

It would be nice to see a short follow up on the rescue of that 20 year old hive. Thanks for the good bee videos.

Like an old moll at a christening mate, get her done. The oil is used to stop the patties setting like bricks, it keeps the stuff pliable in the cold and makes it easier for the little darlings to eat. I also add two lemons per 2 kg of sugar to invert the sugars when making sugar feed for the girls, as in golden syrup, it stops the sugar from settling out, and forming a crust. I also add a few drops of tea tree oil per batch to help with nosema etc.

Discovered this channel today, and frankly I’m already enjoying it.

It amazes me that he's able to have a fairly successful bee operation with the sheer amount of "fuck it, good enough!" stuff he does. LOL

I'm so glad I came across your channel. I can't get enough of watching! I am a beginner beekeeper in South Africa. Of all the YouTube videos I've watched on beekeeping, yours is the best. I love your sense of humour as well. Keep up the good work!

I found out it is way better to make the patties toooo thicker than to thin so they do not run down thru the frames . It will make a hell of a mess 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ . You keep a smile on my face the whole time I watch your video’s
