I was 41 when my last baby came to us (he was number 6), and he was very much wanted (no "oops"!). People thought I was crazy, but they just didn't know how much I wanted one more. I had several miscarriages, and one stillborn daughter, before I got pregnant with him.
I'm 64 now, and still have happy dreams about being pregnant. But my snuggles now come from my grandchildren (10 so far). I feel SO blessed.

And thanks for the reminder to handle our children's behavior issues with love. As a mom of 4 (ages 13, 15, 18 and 23) I agree 100%. LOVE conquers all.
I consider dealing with my young adults' life issues as a form of parenting still, just different. It's hard to explain but it includes lots of grown up conversations with bible based advice, and lots of grace ❤❤❤
I sure miss when they were your kids' ages! What a fun phase of life this is. Enjoy every moment 🙂

Always a joy to catch up with the Chatwins! Regarding your miscarriage~ I like to think that when I get to Heaven I will have a child waiting for me. 💜 it’s been 40 years and yet I think about it often. It was not talked about then as it is now. Grateful you can share now a days and receive support from others.
Very smart parenting to not take your kids tantrums personal. I remember that phase and I think you are so wise to look at it like you do and just love on that child with some one on one time. You are in the thick of things right now with so many little personalities developing and trying to meet all of their needs is not for the faint of heart! I’m so proud of you for being the loving parent’s that you are! What a blessing it is to see children not only have loving parents but such loving grandparents! I hope both of your folks are well.

I love that yall get the kids involved in school as soon as they can. In my opinion it sets GREAT boundaries prevents seperation fits and with the triplets the opportunity to develop individuality and their own friendships ❤❤❤ ppl hate on family vlogs but i feel yall do it respectfully well 👍

I found out I was pregnant on May 26th. Had my first prenatal appts, and then i had some bleeding mid June so went to the ER. First ultrasound was done there and found out I was pregnant with twins!!! I am 39yrs old, and have a 19yr old daughter. My husband and I have tried for a baby for 13yrs. This pregnancy was a complete surprise and natural. Twins was our actual dream. My bleeding continued and trips to the ER progressed each week, at the end of first trimester ( just about!) Found out the pregnancy was no viable and I was dilated and passing tissue. July 13th I had a D&C and we have been entirely devastated and crushed by the loss. We are about 5wks post surgery of losing the pregnancy so I am waiting for my cycle to return. I feel really traumatized by my experience, but there is a huge hole in me that still wants this baby for us, but scared to go through it again. Sooo sorry to hear about your miscarriage, both of you! Thank you for sharing! Prayers and blessings for baby number 6! 🙏❤

I was pregnant with twins, and I still worked as a non-emergency ambulance driver, and I start to bleed one day and had to go to the hospital and lost one baby but the other one I carried full-term it was both are girls. And as far as the postpartum, it hit me hard especially with the miscarriage so I know what you’re going through what you went through. It took me a long time with family and friends I made it through.
