A new study has quantified the human health impacts and costs of cat-dependent diseases in Australia for the first time. Lead author Professor Sarah Legge from the Australian National University and the University of Queensland discusses toxoplasmosis, cat round worm and cat scratch disease and their impacts on Australia.

Really animals ALL belong in the wild they love trees, forests, rivers, not houses.. Farm animals belong in farm but cats, dogs etc, why should they love people's houses rather than nature i say :)

Toxoplasma Gondii is protozoa, and protozoas don't lay eggs...please use proper scientific terms...

What a hatred for cats. I've lived with cats all my life and nothing has ever happened to me. What viruses and parasites does a person transmit? Poor pets in Australia
