Do you know the process to mate the double upper bearings to the u joint gear? I cannot find any information on this.

Have you ever seen any internal damage? Like from bravo 3 overheating? I’m having trouble reaching max speed at wot rpm. Had the boat in to the shop and they replaced the fuel pumps. Got it back same thing. When I type numbers in a prop slip calculator I’m getting 22%. I was advised my out drive is overheating and it needs to be looked at. 2003 cobalt 226 with 496 running 28p props

Yes the next time we get a Bravo 3 needing the prop shaft seals replaced we will video that job.

When re-assembling can the timing marks be aligned by looking from the front, instead of the rear cover? Also, is the yoke assembly supposed to just slide back into the carrier? Mine seems it might need the help of a good sized rubber mallet.
