There are holy men and women
Throughout human history,
Prophets, martyrs, monks and nuns and normal folk like you and me,
Bright examples of just what it means to live for Jesus Christ,
And the Church it knows for certain they enjoy eternal life.

Saints are happier to help you than a bug at a barbecue,

There are saints for makin’ flapjacks,
Ans there’s one for makin’ shoes.
If you’re studyin' for a math test, count on it, there’s a saint for you.
There are saints that help with singin’,
Saints for travelin’ out of town.
There are some to call when your new kickball is nowhere to be found.
There are saints that care for kiddos
And a thousand others too.
And if you’re shootin' for salvation, any saint will do.

Don’t get discouraged; just have courage!
