Starting Christmas in October,
Celebrating in its way
Santa sitting on his sleigh
Singing “Happy Holiday.”

But the Church is everlasting.
We prepare with prayer and fasting
Cause a string of blinky lights
Or a piece of pumpkin pie
Never gave eternal life.

God is searching out a place in you
That is worthy of His Son.
