After a six-month wait for a double organ transplant, Sara O’Daniels had to get to University Hospital within the hour to receive a kidney and liver transplant. NBC News’ Tom Llamas explains how dispatchers from Brown County sent ambulance crews to help transport O'Daniels for her last minute surgery.

This is awesome, amazing, wholesome, kindness, etc.... but I've seen stories like this before and it makes me realize we need more of a solid plan for things like this. And I mean (we) as in we need some type of service for this because these are just as life saving as ambulances responding to immediate life threats.... Especially considering the majority of EMS calls are non emergent life threats
