I would like to take the time to thank you for these videos that you put out. They are so easily digestible and you have helped me make far better use of Obsidian. I upgraded to obsidian sync and it works flawlessly. Thank you kind sir.

The "Graph view: Open graph view" is pretty, but the "Graph view: Open local graph" is more useful since it provides an overview of links within an active note

I find it useful for discovering orphans or notes that need more connections

I think you missed the best part of this plugin, that is the local graph. I always have it in a small square part of the screen. If you don't use it yet, I super recommend it. It is a good way to navigate notes and it is very intuitive.

I have organised folders with a wiki like linking structure. Each note has a links section at the top that nests like "[[University]] | [[Legal]] | [[6008 - Business Law]] | [[6008 - AS1]]".
All notes are tagged, tags are coloured in graph view, every Uni thing is purple, ever work thing is green etc. This makes each subject and its subcategories self contained bubbles on the graph view.

Then I have a folder that is just zettelkasten notes and the link section for them is not structured its just whatever connections I think of.

This means that most notes are in one consistent colour bubble or another, and the strays flying around that are the wrong colour for their area or are grey are almost always zettel notes. Showing the more unusual connections more readily.

This is a little click baity - it’s cool but the best plugin? Also the intro yesterday really through me watched it twice thinking you were about to talk about it but wasn’t available yet didn’t notice the time thing. Would have preferred you’d have opened say this would be coming soon. That was honestly annoying. As always, despite this, appreciate your input thank you
