From a practical point of view, this video is great, but my quest to find just one video talking about obsidian where the host isnt acting like they are in a cult continues.

If you want to future proof your notes you may want to use the markdown standard for links [title](link to file) rather than the [[file]] format since only Obsidian understands the [[file]] format and other markdown editors won't know where the files are located. It's a little more typing but you are still able to have Obsidian automatically create the file on click but with the added benefit that if you ever move off of Obsidian all your links will still work.
