Phantasm 5 Teaser Review

Here are my thoughts on the upcoming movie Phantasm 5: Ravager trailer and what I think we can expect!

The first Phantasm movie was ground breaking, in that a movie of this type had not been done before, not to mention in a manner it was done. Phantasm really started it all. The heavy duty gore is one thing, but it had to be that way, otherwise the story wouldn't work (as strange as that may sound). And, the tall man scared the absolute hell out of everybody. It's funny too that we try to look past the low-budget-looks of these movies. But on the other hand, it says a lot about fan intrigue and fascination with the Phantasm story/plot lines...it is truly unique and even complicated (to a degree). The Phantasm movies deserve more recognition than they received. Thanks for posting your review; good job.

And...RIP, Angus Scrimm.

I agree with you. Angus Scrim's days are counted but he is a real cool fella who enjoys his work.  FYI he went to the University of Southern California.

I would really like to see more mysterious images of the Red World, the other dimension where the corpses go, just to further confuse the possible motivations of the entity that houses itself in the tallman (Jedidiah Morningside).

My guess:  The giant sphere is what the Tall Man really is.  The undertaker replicants are merely avatars.

you ain't the only one waiting for this movie. It's about time they did it hopefully they don't use to much of them cheesy effects .. they need to keep it simple like part 1 .. like review hope to see more peace and love

One part of the trailer that made me feel like it was really cheap was the gun view camera angle. Also why is there a midget in the movie now. Were the dwarves not enough?

How did you get the VHS copy of Phantasm IV? And I too hope that the 5th movie starts where it left off in the 4th.
