I can't believe that Coscerelli actually revealed the title of this movie within "John Dies at the End".  Somewhere within that movie there is a scene featuring a tv set. Next to that tv are some dvds stacked sideways. One of those dvds has Reggie's face and the title Phantasm Ravager on the side.   Sneaky sneaky.

Phantasm is my all time favorite horror movie. I've been waiting for a 5th Phantasm for a long time. It took well over 15 years for the 5th one to be made and it has finally been made. I was still a teenager when the 4th came out, I'm in my early 30s now. Angus Scrimm is almost 90 years old and looks great for his age and its awesome that he can still play the Tall Man, wouldn't be Phantasm without Angus Scrimm. Reggie Banister is well in his 60s I'm pretty sure and it doesn't look like he's aged much at all since the last movie. Really looking foward to this movie!

All the movies I've ever been a fan of (Star Wars, Terminator, LoTR) - nothing has ever held my attention so much as the Phantasm movies. I've been a loyal fan since 1996 when I first discovered them (several years late) and I've been stalking the internet ever since Oblivion hoping for some juicy tidbit. And then, promise after empty promise with nothing to show for it... until now.

The one thing I've been holding out and praying for before I die is to get the finale of one of my favorite sci-fi horrors of all time.

I've just discovered Phantasm tonight and I've watched the 4 movies in a raw. It's really fun, can't wait for the 5th.
What I really like is how unpredictable those movies are, really entertaining.
