I'm so glad I found this channel as a complete newbie. The education you offer for free is really something else. Thanks a lot and keep doing you!

I love how you put "beginner" with "middle school students." I'm sitting here like "I'm a beginner, and I'm

Humanity doesn't deserve john Hammond lol everyone starts somewhere and as far as he is in his career to still take the time to teach the craft to absolute beginners is very humbling.

Actually really like this!
I've never done a CTF... ever 😅 but been following your channel for some years 😅 Have learned a lot from seeing your videos, but it was scary at the beginning, not really understanding stuff
This series will be great for people who want to get into this... it can be very hard and scary to start, so this is a very nice incentive and a good place to learn
Love it, John! Tysm!

I think it's awesome you're covering these more beginner-friendly games and approaches. I can tell you from experience just learning where to start can be the most difficult part.

This video gave me a better demonstration and understanding than my university CTF class where ctfs were our assignments and we did pretty much the same thing. Thank you so much for reigniting my passion for cybersecurity

John or Mr. Hammond I frankly don't know which to call you but here we are. I had one of your CTF videos show up on my feed in 2020 but the video itself was 2017! With watching over the year, you have introduced me into a new hobby and/or career! The skill set in which you posses is amazing! Showing those that are 'Getting their feet wet' how to start learning. Today after watching this video for like the 4th time, I have decided to finally start learning and working hands on with my brother whos teaching me! You showing the viewers...heck the WORLD, that we can start learning and practicing on our own with a great resource aid and hands on tools! M. Hammond, please never stop teaching or posting! This is some of the best inspiration I have ever gotten!!!! Thank you JOHN!!!

Wow, it's nice to hear such an elementary explanation, because most of the material I see is full of abbreviations, codenames, and techniques that already require tonnes of knowledge. Thank you for making it soooo approachable and noobiefriendly!

It's funny, I've listened to you off and on for two years. At first I knew you were trying, but I really couldn't follow you. Now that my job has given me more experience and I have a couple of certs under my belt I was looking to expand my hands on skills with CTFs (because I remembered you saying it was the way to get started and really learn). I kept asking coworkers and nobody really seemed to help. Then I got stuck at home for a couple of days and stumbled across this video of yours and BAM I'm actually in the game! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for making the content you make. I'm a retired USAF flyer and my new job has me loving Cyber Security as a topic and field. Your videos have helped me with alot of concepts and direction!
