ImagesbyDavid - slower shutter or faster shutter or any kind of shutter change DID NOT work, it really isnt an issue anymore, this fixes all my banding problems - and yes I use 3-4 cameras to film weddings

This type of flickering is also possible to fix with RedGiant DE:Noise plugin, but it is cpu intensive.
Just need to put settings: Temporal Process Mode - to "Max".

yeah if you shoot 100th/s with 50hz lights flicker goes away. but with disco lights etc/LED you just get this banding of various widths based on shutter. 60th/s is thicker. 100th/s is thinnest but still noticeable. hopefully in future, they add this into firmware of cameras (LED banding filter) or something.

A slower shutter speed right? would eliminate banding.

I've just noticed the example you can barely see the banding lines... this is very odd because they are really bad, youtube compression seems to have fixed it lol - I will try and upload another clip showing the banding alot worse, then obviously the plug in fixing it and looking more impressive

Cool vid. However, it looks like you are using this with Sony Vegas. Yet, on the "flicker free" product website, I don't see that Vegas is supported. How did you get a copy for Vegas?

Been hoping for a plugin like this for years.  Sadly, it doesn't even touch the LED banding on my footage.  I've tried every single preset and tweaked the settings in every imaginable way.  Doesn't mean it won't work for you but it seems to me it only removes a very specific kind of interference.  I have very thin, fast banding.  In fact, all it did for me was succeed in creating some even more unsightly artifacts.  Don't get your hopes up.

Hi mate, I recently shot a live music video under LED stage lights. And on some of the shots black horizontal lines appear. I asume this is banding as when I noticed it I tried changing my shutter speed but only resulted in the lines getting wider and darker. The best setting I could get left thin black lines. Do u think this plugin will help? Thanks mate. :)

Where can I get this plug in? What editing software are you using? Is it just called 'Flicker free'?
