Back in 1982 when I was doing my high school graduation, there was this spoiled daughter of one of our education board authority. She was a bully, violent scum, hostile to both boys and girls, but all reports were excused in order not to destroy her future because of her father's influence. During the final year of her graduation, she bullied a boy from a 7th grade, he tolerated it as much as he could. One day, in our lunch area, she purposefully poured water on his lunch. Guess what happened, he punched her so hard in the face that her facial skull got crushed, and it damaged her brain. She went into coma and was brain-dead after a couple of weeks, and was let go. Her father tried to get the kid arrested, but the whole school stood up for him, and in the trial every victim came forward and gave their statement. Which absolutely destroyed their case.
A year later, both her parents were fired from their jobs, and they were shunned from our community. They left our town back then and never heard about them ever again. I just don't want to name them. I can only say, I am from Texas, because this whole case was more like hush, hush, but it did come out in the papers though.
