My father also gave me an Air King from 1968. I'm so privileged. It's a 5500 and I absolutely love it. I've been wearing it daily since 1989. Got it serviced about a year or two ago for about $1000 and it came back purring. It's so simple and classy and more importantly under the radar. I'm blessed to have it.

It’s totally opposite for me - date, and especially day window just ruins it for me. Keep up the great work !

Great collection. Many thanks. I’m the opposite - not a fan of dates on watches unless it’s a gmt or the Datejust. Each to his own. I’d keep the blacked out Tudor - looks really cool !

Was in Zurich in December. Held on buying a new Tudor until I got to Frankfurt. Switzerland only has a 7% VAT refund compared to Germany which is a 17% refund.

Fun video. I have a Tudor BB58 blue and I love it. It’s on the my never sell heirloom list to be inherited by my son. I too wish it had a date, but not a big deal.

Well, I like people getting bored of Tudor, and selling them off. Please don't stop.

I totally agree with you. I absolutely need a date and I just stop wearing anything without one. Dive bezels with a date are so useful.

Such a nice Rolex story how your dad bought 2 when he retired. Lovely touch mate ! A forever watch

Think my favorite might be the Glycine Combat Sub. Looks great on that Bond strap. They actually did sell for over $1k pre Invicta, but now they only sell gray market and thus the lower price. Amazing value and the thinest Swiss diver out there at 10.6mm.

I sold all my Tudors and only kept the 1926 36mm. But my daily driver is a Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S-7AJF. Nothing can beat that imo.

"Everybody" buys Steinharts in Europe. Even keeps the price pretty good. Well appreciated.

Tudor watches are sweet. Rolex quality at a much lower price. Plus they treat our veterans well.

Purists like me, adore 🥰 iconic no-date watches, like the Sub and the Speedmaster. The dial looks 👀much cleaner. May that’s why I love my Tudor FXD/MN21 too.

I was gonna offer you a killer trade for that Tudor Pepsi…I have two San Martins that you’d love 🤣🤣. Nice vid.

I have 2 Orient Mako 3's. Burnt orange dial and the grey dial. I love them, and like you, can't put my finger on exactly why. I just love the dial, I guess.

I’m the opposite with regards to the date. I like a dial without it, keeps the symmetry and easier and quicker to change the time. I just look at my phone if I need to know the date. Who doesn’t have a phone on them nowadays and who doesn’t go everywhere without their phone. Just my opinion.

100% about the date. So many ppl are completely the opposite and they concern me!
