Buy It - MSI MAG 321UPX (4K 240Hz QD OLED) Monitor Review
MSI has released the most affordable 4K 240Hz OLED monitors this generation. Specifically the MSI MAG 321UPX is the cheapest 4K OLED coming in at $899, but without the ability to update the firmware MSI needs to get it right, or it won't be worth buying. Today we put that to the test by reviewing the color, accuracy, brightness, latency, motion performance, uniformity, and clarity of MSI's new 4K OLED.

If I'm already spending $900.00 on a monitor, I'd rather just spend $1, 200.00 to get one with all the bells and whistles without these drawbacks.

You can now upgrade the firmware on this. Might want to change the Mpg vs mag comparison....

Please do a video on your best monitor picks for hybrid photo and video editing, colour accuracy etc.

Can you also test the 27" 360Hz version of the MAG, with no firmware upgrade option?

Also, how does HDR switching work in Windows? Like, is it possible for the monitor to switch between sRBG and Peak 1000 modes on its own as one goes from an HDR game or video to Desktop etc and vice versa?

Little frustrating to watch the entire video and you not answer the one question I had coming here.. What is the difference between this monitor and the MPG-321URX? I'm surprised because you mentioned the 321URX on your channel before.

Is it worth upgrading my LG C3 oled tv for this?

The lack of firmware update sucks but the fact that the asus variant is priced at 1800 euros in the EU outside of the 1500 euro EU launch price makes this deal attractive. It's literally cheaper to buy 2 of these monitors than a single asus monitor with the same panel.

You can’t say there’s less text fringing at 4K without telling us the scaling factor you’re using to make that judgement. I want to use a 4K 32 inch screen at 100% scaling (yes I know it’s small, I will move it closer to my face), all the oleds have text that looks like trash at that scale. So what looks good? 125? 150?

Mannnn idk if ill be able to move to this after having the LG C3 for the past year, the finish and brightness on the C3 is great. This is a great monitor tho the price is great for what its offering.

is this monitor good for color grading work?

I mean, I currently have dual 32 inch 60 Hz refresh HD monitor for my set up. Yes it is a 1080P monitor and it's a big 32 inch display so you could see the pixels. Definitely thinking about upgrading to a better monitor and this one was perfect because l did not want to compromise on the size of the display but at the same time I want a good quality display with high refresh rate. And this monitor fits everything 32 inches, 4K, 240 so high refresh rate.
But the cherry on top is the fact that it's an OLED which is a big deal because I can't get over the fact that my main monitors for my main gaming PC set up are not sharp. And for other people, maybe they don't really care or can't even tell the difference but I could tell the difference due to the fact that I do daily drive a 15 ProMax, 23 M3 Max MacBook Pro 16in, 24 iPad Pro 13in, and an Ultra Watch. All these have OLED displays and definitely there's a big difference between OLED and a regular non OLED display. But the price might be a little steep, but I'll probably just buy one out of the two monitors and it will be my main monitor out of the 2. 😊
