What Happens When We Die

I remember at the end of Robert Monroe's " Ultimate Journey " he describes this place between Earth and true reality. It's like a 5 star holiday destination: pristine valleys, forests, mountains, beautiful lakes and activity resorts. The souls who go there are atheistic. I think he called it " The Park. " Sounds nice to me!

Not my experience after my myocardial infarction because of a piece of plaque blocked my main artery to my brain. I was later told that I was clinically dead for 15 minutes before an experimental blood thinner dissolved the clot. All this happened in the ER ward of the Robina Hospital. my awareness remained and was acutely heightened at death! What changed was any thought, any reference to a 'self', any sense of time and space vanished, replaced by brilliant light immersed in DIVINE LOVE beyond description. So the story in this video suggests to me that these NDEs underpinning this talk involves a still functioning brains!! The 'I' or the 'ego' in my experience completely disappeared together with thoughts, concepts and brain functioning of any kind to only return after resuscitation 15 + minutes later. What never ceased at any juncture was my awareness despite the massive changes to the contents and acuteness of that awareness. I now know from direct experience that awareness cannot 'die'!!!

INTERESTING to say the least. I had a trip where i went into these different lives and experienced things over again that ive cherished from them. Each time it was me and everything felt familiar but i was a different person but i knew it was me. Man i had so much fun doing that.

About that LIGHT and TUNNEL… We do come into this world (virtual earth reality) finding ourselves being pushed from our complete safe and comfortable dwelling, being sent through a dark tunnel into a bright light that we can’t “put off doing” anymore. I love the video. I think the word conciousness needs to be replaced with awareness. Conciousness implys the physical virtual reality or body mind brain. If ones body is dead the breakup of spirit and matter one is no longer concious. If one is hit in the head or asleep they are also unconcious in this state and move to awareness. So awareness is the fundamental center of being the watcher the witness. The soul that is part of the spirit or the witness the one. Creation. Also intellect was mentioned and there are two types of intellagence in my experience intellect and the intelligence of loving awareness. One is phyical knowledge accumulated from memories and experiences information ect... and one is metaphysical wisdom love oneness compassion. One uses thought and one is beyond thought. One is spatial and one counter spatial. But this video is spot on thank you tom.

I had an NDE in 2019 and also found my awareness through dilution the practice of concentration that brought me to dilution or a state od meditation liberation beyond thought and intellect beyond knowledge. By calming the mind body and going beyond thought to the watchfulness the witness the larger conciousness system but i would call it a larger awareness system of creation of loving awareness. Oneness a place of love and compassion of no self no individual a place of freedom from the shadow of conflict and suffering. Emptiness that is untimeitley full. A void. A silence.

This is truley beautiful im so happy to see there is people here that talk about this. Most are afraid of this topic and thats understandable they are all on there own path to gain experience and learn but it can make it lonley for the ones who see. Not sure if lonley is the right word because we are one but like theres something missing like we need to do more but its all as it should be. When i see others like you tom and in the comments speculating and trying to inspect the virtual reality its inspiring and comforting.
