If there was one thing that every Christian must know about their faith, I cover it in this video. If an atheist could disprove this, they could debunk the entire Christian faith.

I love you unpacking the resurrection being the CRUX of the christian faith. I find it interesting that no one has been able to put forth a solid argument against the resurrection 😮

I am so joyful that Jesus saved me! Remember guys that the troubles we are going through or will go through is nothing compared to the glory that is to come. ❤ have faith

This is so correct. Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection is the core of our faith.

This is a blessing to know that we can literally and figuratively raise from the issues of this life.

Thank you for sharing this.

Why do most people only do good for the hope of a reward? Why not do good because it is the right thing to do alone?

"Our faith is not hinged on an inerrant Bible." Love it! And note that Andy Stanley was "crucified" for saying this in recent past. But he wasn't saying that he believes that the Bible is not inerrant, he is only saying that our faith is not centered around the Bible but in an event -- the resurrection of Jesus.

Pray God lifts the scales from the lukewarm and lost eyes, opens their ears and soften their hearts. Pray God brings revival to the earth. Pray the Lord of Harvest send forth laborers into the harvest. Pray God strengthens His children, gives them more discernment, unites them and wakes them up 🗺

Amen.
If Jesus wasn’t resurrected, my sins wouldn’t be forgiven.
If Jesus wasn’t resurrected I wouldn’t know that He is God.
If Jesus wasn’t resurrected I would have no hope of Heaven or communication with Him.
If Jesus wasn’t resurrected then our faith would be nothing and we would be fools.
Therefore, Jesus did resurrect from the dead and we will be made brand new when He comes to take us Home! Love y’all ❤

This is a very interesting and powerful segment of scripture. Many people believe that all hope of salvation is gone when one dies. Verse 19 shows that we have hope beyond this life. Also another very powerful section is a few verses further where it shows that every person that dies in Adam, is made alive in Christ. Also Peter tells us in his letter that we have been born again by the resurrection of Christ. Indeed the resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to everything.

I remember a conversation I had with my sister, a fellow Christian who has a more liberal view of the Bible than I do about whether or not she believed Jesus resurrected, since she thought many of the other stories in the Bible may only describe events as the writers perceived them, but lacked the influence of God’s miracles. She really had to think about that one. I was amazed, because I was like, this is the most central part to Christianity. Whatever else you may believe about how we relate to God and Jesus, there is no Christianity without Jesus’ resurrection. It shocked me that she might be thinking it happened according to how people thought may have happened, and not the most impossible miracle, but crucial miracle of God.

Praise our Heavenly Father for His Word. My God my redeemer--I thank You and praise You for Your only begotten Son. Cause us, the household of faith, to grow continuously in Your grace, mercy, and love in Christ' s name I pray.
Amen. Brother.

It is the corner stone of the religion we call Christianity. Without it, everything falls flat.

Spot on Brother Allen! The Resurrection is the stubborn, un-disprovable fact that is the keystone to the whole faith. Pull that out, the whole thing crumbles, if it remains, the whole thing stands. And for over 2000 years, it stands, with no reasonable humanistic alternative narrative of what happened that sparked the eruption of the Christian faith in the first century.

Easy rebuttal. Different authors will include different eyewitnesses. If all the gospels were exactly the same, then I would be suspicious that there was only one author and copies made thereafter.

Great video.

So much "gospel" preaching focuses on the death of Jesus. In fact some "gospel" messages don't even mention the resurrection. If the resurrection is not the focus of the message then a person is not preaching the gospel message the apostles preached. The apostles goal was to be witnesses of Jesus resurrection.

Acts 1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

Might also be good if you was as thorough about the instrument Greek word stau·rosʹ is translated “cross” in many Bible translations. Notice, however, what various sources say about the meaning of this word:

“The Greek word [stau·rosʹ] properly . . . means merely a stake.”—Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature.

“A pole in the broadest sense. It is not the equivalent of a ‘cross.’”—Crucifixion in Antiquity.

“A strong stake, such as farmers drive into the ground to make their fences or palisades—no more, no less.”—History of the Cross.

“It never means two pieces of timber placed across one another at any angle, but always of one piece alone.”—The Companion Bible.

“An upright pale or stake . . . It never means two pieces of wood joining each other at any angle.”—A Critical Lexicon and Concordance
