Wow!! I am a member of a United Methodist Church in Texas and our church just voted a couple of months ago to separate from the United Methodists for basically the same issues. Our church voted to continue in the conservative traditions of Biblical doctrines.

I heard about this from a deacon at a conservative Presbyterian church. He mentioned that the church has been divided into two groups. One that has accepted liberalism and one that is traditional. We will see more of these things occurring before Christ returns.

1) Say everything is ok and cheer people on and empower them on the road to eternal damnation.
2) Say some uncomfortable things rooted in love and The Word and pray that those who need to turn from their sin, will actually turn.

Ah my old church denomination. I saw the signs when I was there and left. I pray about this every night. The confusion this world brings to our children, and to all is so dangerous that things like this start to happen. They cannot speak from the bible on these ideas yet they still call themselves "Christians" it's heretical in the name of "equality." This is a fallen world.
