I think that either the tip should be included or not expected at all I know a lot of people are gonna disagree with me on this but if you’re not making enough money on the service to where if you’re not tipped you’re upset about it maybe you should just charge more because it tip is optional.

I love in the UK and I have only very rarely tipped beauticians, honestly I'm happy to pay what they charge but I hope it doesn't become expected to tip here, because the anxiety of not knowing how much to tip is stressful. Plus it's already pricy to get your hair, nails, etc done.

A good nail tech can make it look straight for you. I actually have two fingers a bit crooked and my old nail tech would do it

I think tipping culture is out of hand now. You pay for the service already. Why do you need to tip? Unless you’re asking for something extra that isn’t charged, then why? I know some people don’t agree, but I don’t care. We don’t all have money to be throwing freely. And before you come at me and say “if you can’t tip, don’t get your nails/hair done!” I’m gonna say, I have money to pay for these services, so I’m getting them done! Any extra amount should be up to me entirely and not the pressure to tip.

I’m a bit high maintenance in the nail salon, lots of designs, massage, paraffin, I want all the things and I run late a lot (I’m working on myself, ok?!) but because of all that, I make sure to tip really really well. It’s only fair. I’ve left a 200% tip on a nail bill before lol

The hairstylist I see usually winds up with almost a 50% tip from me. $54 haircut and for whatever reason I just always tip a $20. I love her work, and I'm trying to keep in her good graces!
