People can't use Linux for normal usage? I've used linux for 3 yrs without an issue, then just because I couldn't make run a game I wanted to run I reinstalled windows
Also, mr Technowizard productions, I see on youtube grannies doing vlogs where THEY teaches how to use linux, tell me why I can find those videos then
Yeah, I'm on windows now, but if it was for me, I would use other OS if society wasn't so stuck on some software

I installed Linux for my 80 year old mother who has no tech skills to speak of. She's able to use it jus fine.

I am a 50 year old men using linux I not a expert on technology but for web browser is good and some other things I use gimp to fix some pics I use libre office to do some document or a presentation, what Linux need to make more apps friendly like messenger, whats app, etc I use this apps on android because some feature dont work with linux but I feel happy with the distro I using . and I ben using linux about a year. I use LMDE and MX, some time I change of distro to see how work the one I try, windows is good, and thats is my opinion about linux

it does just work, just use a universal blue distribution instead of mint or ubuntu, and it's easier than windows because of immutability.
