An EVEN BIGGER Danish Folk Band play 'En Rundrejse Schottisch'

268 folk musicians and dancers primarily from Denmark, with guests of honour from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Russia & the UK, have teamed up together to produce something of a masterpiece. Once again the good tune are proud to present lockdown project folk big band 3.0, in collaboration with Rune Øster Mortensen & Mads Kjøller Henningsen (Project Organisation and Coordination), Ivan Riordan Boll (Video Editing) and folk fans, musicians and dancers from Denmark and beyond.

The melody, 'En Rundrejse Schottisch' was specially selected from the Saugmann Bjerregaard collection and was indeed written by D.T.S. Bjerregaard himself (1852-1916). The arrangement of this unique recording has been created by Mads Kjøller Henningsen, Clara Tesch, Julian Svejgaard, Sebastian Bloch and Kevin Lees. Special mention goes to Nisse Blomster for the quite wonderful arrangement of the brass and clarinet section.

Excellenrly put together, vocals even, keep at it everyone and hope you can play live locally soon. There is a Cornish tune called Causeway Head which has a similar feel.- a rather smaller outfit hiwever! :
