I am a long time car enthusiast... and I purchased this very car lol. At almost 40 years old, I actually prefer driving a slower car fast, as opposed to driving a faster car fast. I like the thrill of the build up and also nailing the corners.

Beautiful area you’re in! Toyota knocked it out of the park. Nice color, wheels, style, MPG's, performance and safety features. I drove one at a dealer and was amazed how much I liked it, as an enthusiast. It has a different mission than a performance car, but it still gives you a lot of satisfaction. I can do without the red dash, and the cargo room won’t accept my mountain bike, too shallow. But I think this may be in my future. ✌️

I own this same car and i love it. I don't have the the solar panels. I have the moon roof. My car is a 2024 Prius Prime
XSE Premium. I paid just under $40, 000 with a $5900.00 rebate. I also got the car wrapped. It had zero miles on it.

Is this vehicle ok to park for few months without driving it ? And won’t have any trouble to start up again. Thanks

the car you presented here is the XSE Premium, not the XSE

Yep, the 2023 and up is ready for racer boys. I'll stand pat with my 2017 Prius Prime, which has a ton more cargo volume. It is plenty quick, handles plenty well, and gets way better mpg than the newer generation. For just commuting, the newer generation would be maybe more fun. But for hauling stuff, car camping, and being anonymous, any Prius up to 2022 is much better. To me, having a car that people notice and drool over, is a downside, not an upside, and I've owned some attention-grabbing cars in the past.

I'd say the 2024 Prius is still pretty versatile compared to the average sedan, but it loses some of the SUV-ish space properties of the 2004-2022 generations, while at the same time losing around 20% of the fuel economy. My Prime is partway between in space, due to losing space and payload from its bigger battery compared to non-Prime Gen 4. In my Gen 2 2005 Prius, I was able to bring home a US General 56 inch roller cabinet (weighing 400 pounds) from Harbor Freight, with the hatch closed, after just unboxing it and removing the wheels. Between the very lowered roof of the Gen 5, and the discontinuation of the Prius v wagon, the whole "do anything" aspect of Prius is gone. Thankfully, the RAV4 hybrid, Highlander hybrid, and Sienna (only sold as hybrid since 2021 in the US) still give good options for people wanting more cargo space in a Toyota hybrid. Likewise, more and more models are getting the "Prime" PHEV capability.

This is definitely my next car... but I’ll have to wait until my 2007 Prius (Gen 2) finally gives up. Honestly, at this rate, that might never happen, right? 😂
