Jeanette is an excellent Ex-Mormon interview. I pray you get the chance soon! You can interview me. I’m a great granddaughter of the Mormon Pioneers! My grandparents came from huge families and most of them lived into their 90’s. I grew up sitting at their feet as they dropped mortals of late 1800-early 1900 LDS history and beliefs. They told me the purpose of polygamy was to build up a Militia against the USA!

Dan Reynolds hosts a queer music festival in Salt Lake City and also converted his childhood home into a homeless shelter for queer kids kicked out by their parents. His documentary Believer is about all that and it's really good

My spouse served their mission with David and accompanied him around to perform. My spouse is a great piano player with perfect pitch and really enjoyed the break that perfoming music gave them from typical missionary labor.

I have such high respect for Dan. It sucks that Imagine Dragons has reached that point in fame that everybody hates them because they're always on the radio, but Dan himself, regardless if you like his music, is a very kind guy. I wish more people knew that

I would love to hear a podcast with you and Leah Remini. Talking about cults, being raised in a cult, the crazy stuff that goes on and what you have to accept/believe, getting out of a cult, etc. The similarities and insights, a look at the psychologies, would be incredibly interesting.

Would you ever want to interview those who are still currently Mormon? The two that immediate come to mind are Stephanie Meyer and Brandon Sanderson. I dont think Meyer has ever really addressed it much, but Sanderson has put a couple of posts about it on his blog.

I would love to see you interview David! I’ve loved watching his journey out of the church. It seemed like immediately after American Idol was over, the church positioned him as the young, suitably Mormon heartthrob for all the little Mormon girls to fall in love with, and I’m so curious about how he navigated that over time. And also a bit curious if you were one of the Mormon girls falling for him haha 😅

I absolutely would love to see this healing discussions! It's liberating for us to be able to break free from those belief systems that were set up to oppress and gaslight actual freedom and Sacred honoring through living our most loving lives. Kudos to all who have been able to break free of the cult mentalities that had us harming ourselves and others while claiming it was for "the greater good", it was only for the elite, in the end.

I was a bit blown away when I learned that Lindsey Stirling, a pop violinist star I grew up seeing on YouTube, had once served a Mormon mission. She isn’t involved with the church as far as I know, though I still think she follows the Christian faith. She is so amazing and kind.

I'd love to see you interview Jeannette! Both of you have the opportunity to talk about what the book-writing process is like. When her book came out, the interviews didn't feel nuanced enough (on mormonism and how it affected her upbringing).
