Is it WORTH buying a 2020 BMW M4 or WAIT for the 2021 REDESIGN?

It's the FINAL year of the current generation BMW M4. Is it now or never to go an get one? Under the hood is a 3.0L turbocharged straight-6 pumping out 425HP & mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. It's exterior is unmistakable BMW with it's aggressive front end and kidney shaped grills. On the inside you will find a cabin that has high end materials and tons of tech. Is it worth BUYING a 2020 BMW M4 or Wait for the redesign?

Nice review, I have a 2018 M4 Comp. Couple of points you missed though.

The HUD does have a gear display and Rev counter, you just have to configure it to the mode you are in.

Also this is a competition pack so it has 450hp not 425hp.

I was lucky enough to get a 2020 M4 with the Competition Pack last October in manual with the carbon ceramic breaks (I had no choice on this option because of the color combo I wanted, white with the orange interior was not easy to find). It's been almost a year now and owning this car actually makes me look forward to my daily commute to work. Starting it cold every morning feels like an event every time and always puts a smile on my face. I intentionally did not want to get the 2021 model, because I am not a fan of all digital dash displays and like the simplicity of the analog dash to go along with a manual transmission. The Heads Up display is programmable and does more than mentioned here. Any one of the M Mode buttons on the steering wheel will add a Tach and a gear indicator to the Heads Up display. Don't have to wish for it, just have to know how to operate the features

The thing is, the new I6's from BMW are amazingly easy to get power out of them. You can easily get another 200hp by just an ECU reflash.

I love the 2 door Manuel BMWs of the early 2000s and this M4 has that same energy

90k? why is it 90k? The performance is nice but not 90k nice, the interior is nice but not 90k nice. Should be like 70k imo. This is 90k for status and status alone lets be honest.

They make a lid for the cup holders, I agree, I got the lid as soon as I got the car. After driving my RA, I hate how the Recaro does not bolster you as the M4 seats do. The M4 seats are also stock Recaro but just without the indication of such. At least what I got from an online source. The M4 seats hold you so well. I noticed this immediately every time I switch from the RA over to my M4. Great review!
