We are nearly at the end of our trip across the beautiful island of Java, here in Indonesia! We started in Jakarta, the capital, and have eaten our way across to Bandung and Yogyakarta. Today we're off to Surabaya. The train travel here in Indonesia is nothing less than incredible, and today is no exception. We’re hopping on a 4-hour long train journey on what is arguably the most fancy train journey we’ve ever been on. The Argo Semeru Compartment train (booked on Traveloka)!😍🇮🇩

Not only the Indonesian train attendat is beautiful and cool, but also their uniform too. And I think their hospitality is one of the best. I miss taking train from Jakarta to Yogya. Such a nice and unforgetable memory :).

Petugas-petugas KAI di Jogja, bahasa Inggrisnya lebih fasih daripada petugas-petugas KAI di Jakarta. Agak unik, mungkin sedikit terbalik karena Jakarta adalah de facto ibukota Indonesia sampai setidaknya 16 Agustus 2024. Ternyata, jika suatu area merupakan destinasi wisata yang populer di dunia internasional (misal Jogja dan Bali), warga lokalnya cenderung lebih aktif belajar bahasa Inggris.

Another point, train station toilets in Indonesia are waaayyy cleaner and smell nicer than those in many countries in Europe.

Wow, Indonesia trains have been developed so much in quality, service and amenities, and i never seen this kind of train in the US 😢 considering the ticket price is around $100 (£65) . I'm so jealous to see many of your travels video, especially trains in Indonesia. Thanks, and enjoy.

Every passenger suite class, or first class have free lounge before onboard to train. And KAI have special wagon where you rent if you travel with big group. Special wagon have special name.
