after looking at the encyclopedia it finally struck me what was so familiar about this game, it's that it is very reminiscent of a tabletop board game. The amount of pieces would be absolutely ridiculous but i could see this working as a board game.

What a unique and hidden gem of a game! One of the few games I bought before its release.

I didn't even know that there were advanced card types. I've never seen them in my 7 hours playing. And I have to say that I can not wait for the release. I enjoy how you can sometimes just relax, treat it more like an AFK game and at other times you can decide to build it more action packed where you want to use all ressources to their fullest.
