As a STEM educator and robotics coach, I can only say, Lego please bring back ev3! It was a much more robust and superior system. Spike is great for little kids getting into robotics, but it does not come close to ev3, especially for middle and high school students that are serious about robotics. I guess it's about economics, but I really wish Lego could have just had spike and ev3 in their education lineup together, as spike filled a niche between wee do and ev3. Lego if you are listening, please at least support the ev3 firmware.
