Side question here - how do you upload from the Flip Mino HD and keep it widescreen and high def after running it through a converter.
I have windows xp, ulead video studio 11, and convert with any video converter.

Nice comparison. I just got the UltraHD as a gift today from my girlfriend. I remember wanting the Mino, but I'm extremely happy with the Ultra and its larger screen.

Sitting on my bed with my laptop - Flip plugged in, when one of my cats jumped up and hit it, causing USB to bend. It works, but it's not quite right. I put super glue inside the space, then tried squeezing it back tight, but no such luck! Was looking on eBay about another, wondering the differences, then saw your video so thanks for the explanation. Flip may not have been the best, and discontinued now, but it's so easy to use!

You did miss one thing though; the Mino HD in any event DOES have stablization! It's not I think somthing you can turn off (always on) but it really smooths out the jitters and is quite impressive for a camcorder of this size.
