There's a lot of science on the Internet—but most of it is utter junk.

It's the sort of pseudoscience behind the latest miracle drug that cannot possibly work on humans. It's the dishonest data that drives climate deniers and anti-GMO activists to opposite ends of the political spectrum. It's the assurance from health journalists that coffee and chocolate both cure and cause cancer.

But can you really say that their animal research has _no_ implications for human health? Of course, it's one thing to assert something might work in humans because it worked in a mouse, but there must be some relation, otherwise what would be the point of doing animal research?
