In a debate, you have to grasp on the fly all the arguments of your opponent, and try to counter attack. But when you have more than one opponents against you, you can have more than one line of argument against you and that is extremely demanding...

Brilliant exchange. The issue of the inference of the best explanation and of how only a cosmic mind (ie God) can probabilistically most effectively explain why and parts of how consciousness arises in existence is deep food for thought. After all if chance cannot (and it does not) explain rationality, and if we accept that there's some physical law allowing consciousness to arise we have to ask where that law comes from. It seems to me the answer is clear. (you can check my u tube channel Coranicamente TV for a couple of videos on this line of thought, no need to suscribe just sharing informally.
