Get More The Affair:

Season five will chronicle the aftermath of last season’s horrific events and find the characters coming to terms with the consequences of their choices – as they make the realization that if they really want to change their futures, they must first face the past. Helen (Tierney) begins the season involved in an intoxicating new affair with a charismatic movie star (guest star Claes Bang), who offers to give her everything she’s been missing. Noah (West) meanwhile has to swallow his pride and his jealousy and step in to take care of his family in her absence. But just when things seem to have stabilized, a chance encounter with someone from the distant past sets in a motion a sequence of events that brings them both to their knees. Paquin stars as Alison and Cole’s now adult daughter Joanie Lockhart, who returns some years in the future to piece together the truth about what happened to her mother, bringing the whole story full circle.

Like a lot of interesting shows ( 100, lost...) after awhile the story takes some crazy irrational twists and it's time to find something else. That describes this season... all over the map.

The guy "E.J" is "Eddie" Sierra's kid. He is a big time "Movie buff". Sierra is an actress. Plus Sierra and Eddie look alike. He said to Joanie "My dad died right before I was born." This corralates on who is that guy. I solved another riddle. Tony Plana being an adult "Ben Cruz." And #2 Eddie is E.J. Am I good or what?!?😉

Watched this episode twice. Is the Director guiding Anna P to imitate Joshua Jackson’s / Cole Lockhart’s facial expressions? EJ mentions their similar facial expressions in the script, in the car once. I am not sure it’s working. I really like this episode. It’s good writing, but I am not sure I like the Directing. The hypothesis of EJ is really interesting. Joanie’s psyche is heartbreaking, really. Luisa always seemed a little manipulative and selfish to me. I don’t think her makeup is done very well in her scene. But, the actress is young and beautiful, so can’t be easy making her look like she would in the 2050’s.

I thought Joanie lived in the future? Why isn’t everything digitized and stored in the cloud? Lol did the world give up after Bill Gate, Steve Jobs and Elon Musk passed away?

I think Luisa killed Joanie's Mother. Cole found out about it. Lived out his days in seclusion

When the series finally ends, it'll probably be the real life Noah and his wife leaving the movie premiere... or something like it.
